Although, if you’ve already picked out which of our funky covers or accessories you’d like to buy for Christmas, we can arrange gift wrapping.

INDUSTRY NEWS AND REVIEWS
Our Industry News and Reviews page is about digital technology and/or products that go well with our covers and accessories.
SKYPE - Make calls anywhere in the world over the Internet for free! How you ask? More than 60 million callers in 200 countries are using Skype, a voice over internet protocol (VOIP). Skype offers free calling to all other Skype users. They also offer cheap international rates and calls to national landlines and mobiles via SkypeOut (when you want to talk to others not on Skype).
Download the software, create your own user ID and then all you need is a USB connected headset (or a microphone and speakers) to make and receive calls. As calls are free Skype to Skype, get your friends and family to download as well.
Read the Wikipedia VOIP explanation.
**21/12: Links to download Skype software removed 21/12/06 in response to a www.zdnet.com.au story regarding a potential malware and/or worm virus currently being propogated via Skype Chat and software
APPLE iPod nano & Nike
Also promised, this month we let you know about the Nike+iPod nano Sport Kit.
For those of you who loved the "10,000 steps" program, you’ll love this gadget more…!? Apple research found that 50% of their iPod nano users did so whilst exercising, so they teamed up with Nike to produce an "add-on", similar to a digital pedometer for use with the iPod nano only (1st and 2nd generation), whilst exercising. So now you just need to purchase the Nike+ Sports kit, and a new set of Nike+ trainers (they’re producing quite a few different pairs), place the small wireless device in your new shoes and away you go. You’re able to keep track of your exercise program on Nike.com.
Of course, most iPod nano owning exercise gurus probably want the buy the new Nike+Sports Kit gadget, but for those not wanting to shell out for new runners as well, check out this idea for a cheap work-around. Cheeky, huh?!
