Terms and Conditions
By placing an order in our system, you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions.
How do I Make a Purchase?
The E-Commerce solution built into this site uses advanced Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Each Product Order page shall provide you with an option to "Add to Cart". As you make selections to purchase, the Shopping Cart is automatically updated and you are taken to the Shopping Cart page. From there, you can checkout, or continue shopping. You can always view your progress by clicking on "Shopping Cart" at the top. The prompts for adding, subtracting and reviewing your purchases are clear, just follow the onscreen prompts and instructions.
Remember, until finalised, all orders are tentative. You can remove items or adjust quantities before finalising your order.
What Payment Options can I Access?
Payment must be received at the time of purchase (PayPal) or immediately after purchase (Direct Deposit).
Payment through PayPal with either Visa, MasterCard, or your own Debit Account (for PayPal account holders only) is a highly secure independant merchant with more than 100 million members worldwide. You're not charged extra to pay by credit card and you do not need to have a PayPal account for payment to use the service.
By using a Credit Card for your purchase, you assert and represent that you are the authorised cardholder of the card, bound by the terms and conditions of the card issuer, with full authority to create a binding contract for the sale.
We also offer our customers Direct Deposit. You will be contacted with relevant banking details immediatley after your order is placed. You can pay using your own online banking services or in a local branch. No order will be sent until payment is finalised.
We cannot accept Bank Cheques, Personal Cheques or Money Orders. Please don't be offended when we say no.
Can I be assured my Credit Card purchase is secure from fraud?
Our servers use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology to ensure our customer’s delivery details and personal information remains confidential.
Additionally, all Credit Card information is processed directly by our Merchant Account Provider (PayPal) using an SSL connection. This means that as a merchant, at no stage can we view or access your Credit Card information.
Consumer protection laws protect you against any unauthorised use of your Credit Card. If you suspect any illegal use of your card, call your issuing bank immediately to make sure your rights are protected.
Can I Send you a Cheque for my Order?
Sorry, FunkyCoverz does not accept cheques.
Does GST Apply to My Purchases?
All prices are displayed in $AUD and are inclusive of 10% GST (for Australian purchases). A tax invoice will be emailed with your order confirmation.
What sort of discounts are available?
Funk-eList subscribers receive a discount code on confirmation of their first order, entitling them to 10% discount off all future purchases.
Bulk and Wholesale enquiries are welcome. Volume discounts are available and will be quoted on a case-by-case basis.
I'm a reseller, how do I order?
Contact us with full details of your desired order to obtain discount and further instructions. We look forward to working with you!
What delivery options are available?
We use Australia Post domestically and internationally. Some items are required to be couriered direct from warehouse, however that is at no additional expense to you.
Within Australia: At checkout, you can select to have your order sent via normal parcel post, Express Post/Delivery or Registered Mail.
Internationally: Contact us before ordering. Refer to our Delivery page for further information.
How much do you charge for postage and handling?
Domestic Parcel Post: $AUD6.00 for orders up to $AU60.00. Thereafter, orders sent via parcel post qualify for Free Delivery. Refer to our Delivery Charges page for full information.
Domestic Express Post: $AUD9.00 for orders up to $AU60.00. $AUD5.00 for orders over that amount. Refer to our Delivery Charges page for full information.
Domestic Registered Mail: $AUD9.50 for orders up to $AU60.00. $AUD6.00 for orders over that amount. Refer to our Delivery Charges page for full information.

Why would I select "Express Post" at checkout?
Express Post between most capital cities and many other locations is " Next Day Delivery". If you're buying something as a gift last minute, or just want to receive your purchase asap, then why not select Express Post? Refer to the Australia Post's website in relation to their Express Delivery Network for further information. Dispatch location is 4121. Please note, Insurance is not available on Express Post items.
Why would I select "Registered Mail" at checkout?
Registered Mail is a way of tracking your order; each package has a unique number, proof of posting and requires signature on delivery. Compensation / insurance of up to $AU100 is also included from Australia Post (after investigation/appliation).
Will you deliver outside of Australia?
We certainly can - and do delivery overseas! We just ask that you contact us before placing your order for full instructions. Whilst our site is automatically set up for delivery Australia-wide AND New Zealand, we can also arrange delivery to other countries. Payment would be in $AUD. Please see our Delivery Policy for further information.
What happens once I’ve ordered?
Have you paid via PayPal? If so, you will receive payment notification from PayPal when it has been successfully processed. As well, you will receive an email confirmation from FunkyCoverz so you can be assured we've received your order. Upon dispatch you will receive an order confirmation email and tax invoice, so you'll know the goods are on their way to you.
Have you opted to pay via Direct Deposit? If so, you will receive an email to confirm your order and advice of our bank account details. Delivery is effected once payment is final. At that time, you will receive an order confirmation email and tax invoice.
I didn't receive an order confirmation. What do I do?
If you have not received your order confirmation within two days of your order, please use our Online Contact Form to let us know. We will respond as soon as possible regarding the status of your order. If a system or user error has occurred, we will work with you to correct it.
What materials are your stock items made of?
All product materials are advised on each individual product page.
Our range of covers, cases and pouches are made from a wide range of fabrics and materials; including leather, neoprene, compressed eva, silicone, TPU, polycarbonate, faux (fake) fur, sateen, polyester, etc.
What is Neoprene?
Neoprene is a soft, stretchy material, similar to wet suit material but more lightweight. It washes very easily, by hand with a mild detergent. It responds well to having the spray on cover protectant applied to help with stain resistance. This option is offered at checkout.
What is compressed EVA?
EVA is a dense and durable foam-like cushioning material. It is used to maximise protection of your digital goods. Our STM Cocoon is made of this material.
What is TPU?
Thermoplastic Polyurethane. It's like the protection of a hard case, but the flexibility of silicone. It is durable, more cut and tear resistant than silicone rubber and has a high resistance to abrasion, oil and grease. Shock absorbent and anti-scratch. We have iPod touch and iPhone cases made with this material.
What generation iPods and iPhones does your range of covers suit?
If you head to our iPod covers & accessories page, it shows exactly what cases we have and for what models. That ranges from 5th gen iPod to current day iPod classic, 2nd gen iPod nano to current day iPod nano, all model iPod touch, 2nd gen iPod shuffles.
As well, you can check our iPhone covers & accessories page for details on products for the 1st gen iPhone, 2nd gen iPhone, 3rd gen iPhone and soon 4th gen iPhone.
In addition to that, we have some covers that are perfect for all brands of MP3/MP4s.
What style mobile phones do your phone pouches and phone covers suit?
Our range are universally sized, meaning they fit most mobile phones. Different styles are sometimes better for different phones. Please check all product dimensions on the individual product information pages. We do not stock individual silicone cases for mobile phones, as technology moves faster than kids in a lolly store! Contact us if you need assistance - we're more than happy to help out.
Do you have Gift Vouchers or Gift Certificates available?
Yes. You can purchase gift vouchers for friends and family for either $AU10, $AU20 or $AU50. Find out details on the Gifts & Special Occasions page. As well, we can help with Gift Ideas.
Tips for Responsible Online Shopping
Excerpts taken from Dept of Fair Trading website
You can take a number of simple steps to ensure you protect yourself and your computer from potential fraud, especially when shopping online.
Virus and Internet Warning:
• Always keep your anti-Virus, anti-Spam and Firewall softwares up-to-date.
• Always protect your passwords and log-on IDs.
• Change them frequently, never using passwords that could be easily guessed or identified, or that are closely associated with you.
• Never provide these details in, or in response to, an email. Many scams are currently being received via fraudulent emails. No financial institution etc will request this information via email, or request you to log into your account via a link in an email.
• Be very careful to protect your Credit Card at all times. Check Bank and Credit Card statements carefully, and report any anomalies immediately.
• Never provide credit card details online unless it’s a secure encrypted transaction. Your browser will display a padlock or a solid key in the status bar at the bottom of the window to indicate you’re on a secure page. The address in the address box should begin with https:// instead of the usual http://.
• Don’t provide financial information not required for the sale.
Check Privacy Policies:
• How will your personal details be used? Only provide personal information if satisfied.
Check the Contract:
• Are the terms and conditions ok? Are the delivery details ok? Can you return goods if they are faulty?
Confirm your Order and Keep Record:
• You should be given the chance to confirm or amend your order before inputting payment details.
• Print out or save your order. Take note of any reference numbers provided.
• Request a tax invoice.
• Check credit card statements against orders/tax invoices and report any discrepancies immediately.
I hope this information has been of great use to you, especially how to protect yourself and your computer from potential fraud.
