THREE QUARTERS OF THE YEAR GONE ...
Hi everybody Can you believe that we are into the last quarter of this calendar year?! Heck no. Christmas will soon be upon us. At least we're having lovely warm weather in most parts. Although the warmer weather started so early in Qld, I am fearing the summer a little. New Apple iPods Apple held their anticipated annual media event which not only heralded interest in their new products, but many Apple fans were excited to see Steve Jobs back doing the keynote. "So, what's the Apple round-up?" Apple iPod classic: "Put your entire music collection in your pocket!" Slimline and sassy! The newest iPod classic is now 160Gb but still the same slim size as the 120Gb and ten bucks cheaper. Enough memory for 40,000 songs if you're lucky enough to own that many... Apple iPod touch: "The funnest iPod ever!" Apple decrees the new iPod touch "A great iPod. A great pocket computer. A great portable game player". Not only for tonnes of songs & thousands of videos but also for hundreds of games. Get onboard the new gaming experience. Apple iPod nano: "iPod nano - Now with Video!" The 4G iPod nano was "Rockalicious" but the 5th Gen Apple iPod nano is even better. What's the big deal? It looks the same cute size & design but with NEW features - like Video recording (capture anything anywhere), FM radio and live pause!! Whoa. Apple iPod shuffle: "iPod shuffle - Now in five colours!" Not to be outdone by the gorgeous iPod nano colours, the smaller, more wearable iPod shuffle now comes in 5 colours. It can also now support more than one playlist so switch between songs and playlists with the controls right on your earphones, not on your shuffle! Other Apple news Plus there was also news of an update to the operating system for iPhone (& iPod touch) available for immediate download and the new iTunes was launched: - iTunes 9 available - Update to iPhone OS launched
