iHome's flagship product for 2009, the iHome iP1 speaker system represents the cutting edge in industrial, acoustic and electrical design.
The iP1 Studio Series is the first home audio system to feature the 'Bongiovi Acoustics' Digital Power Station (DPS) processor. This patented technology, developed by music industry professional Tony Bongiovi, actively scans your audio in real-time and dynamically adjusts key frequency levels to release harmonics and clarity lost by compression. The 'B' button effectively restores compressed music to studio quality.
A clean minimalist design, all components are suspended in a 12mm display of museum quality smoke-tinted acrylic with stunning bevelled edges. Two black speaker grilles are supplied - you decide whether you like them on or off (see images below).
The iP1 boasts a patented 4-channel 100 watt Class-D bi-amplified architecture noted for low distortion at high power and for high power efficiency. Two custom-designed 4-inch woofers with glass-fibre cones and aluminum dust-cap phase plugs create unmatched midrange clarity and rich, warm bass. Two 1-inch silk dome tweeters provide shimmering, crystal clear highs.
The Apple Universal Dock with adjustable back support plays and charges all docking iPods and iPhones. The auxiliary line in supports all MP3, mobile phone and other music devices with a 3.5mm headphone output.
The IR Remote control with full iPod and iPhone menu navigation plus EQ and volume is able to conveniently control the home audio system from a distance.
